Vitamin C - helps maintain the body’s collagen for healthy connective tissue formation.

Magnesium – helps with energy production, protein formation and cellular replication.

Copper – works with vitamin C for healthy elastin and collagen production and bone formation, and assists in maintaining Super Oxide Dismutase, a free radical scavenger that protects the cartilage from oxidative damage.

Hyaluronic Acid - Besides having anti-inflammatory properties and maintaining the effective lubricating qualities of synovial fluid, it is required to form other healthy proteoglycan structures, which are critical to the production of articular cartilage. It also helps to maintain the shape of the eyeball and assists phagocytes to travel through connective tissue during development and wound repair. It is an important element of skin tissue which declines with age, and when taken orally may support skin health and elasticity from the inside out.

Chondroitin Sulfate – 20% of Biocell™ Chicken Collagen II contains naturally occurring chondroitin sulfate. Return to Top Vitamin D3 (natural source) - Research shows that vitamin D influences the immune system by decreasing inflammation which reduces the effects of bone destroying cytokines and stimulates the bone building cytokines. Two recently completed landmark studies from England and the United States demonstrated that vitamin D was a major factor in preventing osteoporosis and not the amount of calcium consumed.

Vitamin K - Required by the bone building osteoblasts to manufacture the protein found in the bone.

B-6, B-12, and Folic Acid - prevents the buildup of homocysteine which is implicated in osteoporosis and heart disease.

Calcium - Best bioavailability - Albion’s unique patented process of combining malic acid with calcium gives Di-Calcium Malate a superior absorption rate to calcium citrate. It does not require stomach acid for digestion and can be taken on an empty stomach or with meals.
